I have eaten here several times and been very satisfied. This time however was an entirely bad experience. The waitress was annoying, kept interrupting and didn't know the specials. We wanted Sushi and decided to try it (I normally don't eat sushi from a place not specifically sushi). Our order came out totally wrong. Once corrected and the order arrived, half was now missing. Once that was corrected and delivered the octopus smelled like bad fish market. So bad you could smell it without having to be right up on it. Stick with dinner. Forgo the sushi.

The spring rolls were delicious. I ordered red chicken curry thai hot and emphasized that I wanted it really hot. It was maybe mild. I didn't even sweat. It was also very sweet and if I wasn't so hungry I probably would have eaten it all. My wife had sushi and it was good. Basically for the price I expected more.

Wow! What can I not say about Jazmine . After leaving Japan a year ago this is the best Thai restaurant I have been to thus far. New to Florida visiting in Panama City on business I have eating there at least 5 times in two week the food is that good and so is the service. The Thai seafood yum mum and the chef sushi and the yellow curry special is my favorite . My friend tried the green curry chicken love it. Add this to my list for my next visit.

We are retired and travel extensively in the U.S. and everywhere we go we look for local restaurants. Here in Panama City Beach we chose Jazmine Thai as we both love Thai food. The service was great and the food was REALLY GREAT!! We didn't try the sushi so I can't comment about that. The decor was nice with a life-size tabloid of dancers that was really pretty. I don't know what the poor reviews are about - we highly recommend this restaurant!

I visited the place last weekend with a friend as I have always wanted to go. The place was empty and the prices were kinda high this is more of an upscale place. The inside is beautiful and our waitress wish I remembered her name was great very friendly and fast. We tried the sampler, some curry, there Fire sushi roll served on fire at table side, and desert. I don't have any complaints about the food favorites were golden pouches, banana desert, curry had a great taste. Not sure why the bad reviews the only downside for me was the prices but the food was worth the price, plus that sushi roll rivals what I have had at firefly. Good original place that probably won't succeed because too many people in this area love shitty restaurants.

Solid Thai food in a very comfortable and attractive atmosphere. Good lunch spot, but it may be too pricey come dinner time. Jasmine Thai offers your normal Thai choices in an environment that is a bit more upscale than most of the other Thai restaurants in the area. The decor at Jasmine is great, very tasteful while also celebrating Thailand's heritage and culture. There is a massive statue behind the host station that really sets the mood. The menu should be familiar to Thai food enthusiasts and features an array of curries and noodle dishes. With these you pick your "protein" (chicken, shrimp, beef) and then choose the flavors and accompaniments it is served with (red curry, pad thai, etc.). I have always liked this menu style for the numerous variations on a few simple items that it allows you to create. I have always favored the curry dishes, and at Jasmine Thai I chose the "Choo Chee" curry, which is a style I was not previously familiar with. It was one of the better curries I've had, with very mild flavors (ordered medium for spiciness) and well-cooked vegetables and chicken. One feature I liked at Jasmine was that on the back of the menu there was an option to order the "Can't Decide" in which you order one of the previously mentioned dishes and a roll of sushi for a bit more. I thought this was a good deal, and, wanting to try the Sushi, gave it a shot. I guess I was feeling a bit unadventurous, as during this particularly visit I played it safe and ordered the familiar California Roll. It was solid as such sushi goes, though it's not the best sushi around. Service during my visit was prompt and friendly. I had no complaints in this department. All-in-all Jasmine Thai is great for an air-conditioned, comfortable Thai meal on the beach. It's not the best Thai food I've had in Bay County, and is probably too expensive for dinner (since food quality isn't much different than cheaper Thai options) but is a solid lunch choice and worth a try.

Good food, good service, and very decent lunch prices. Hubby and I went on our way to the beach and both got a lunch special- a soup, salad, and entree for abt $8 each. The peanut dressing on the salad was so good and my pad thai with chicken was fab. Got it "medium hot" which was warm but not overly spicy- perfect. Hubby got the matsuman curry and loved it. We also got an order of the chicken satay and it was soo good. Well definitely be back!

We had the Sizzling Steak and two of the special sushi rolls, and our daughter had the Kid's spaghetti. Everything was good, the only not so great thing was the eel in the Fire Dragon roll, way more bones than usual. Service was good, place not crowded, very good option in the area. (this review was in my drafts since our visit in July 2012!)

Food was excellent! We started with spring rolls which were balanced and very fresh. I ordered the sashimi and sushi platter which was fresh, well prepared and beautifully presented. The cocktails were delicious. The interior is well decorated. Great for date night. Service was a bit spotty. Our server quickly announced it was his first day and he had to go back to the other servers to answer all my picky godmother's questions. The other servers weren't really helping the poor guy out.

Cliff was a great waiter! I never had a beverage half empty! The prices on the sushi were a little steep but the Thai entrees were good and they had a great selection. The customizable entrees were great because you can choose tofu, veg, or meats and what level of hotness you prefer. Huge portions! Great kids menu! Great for our group , we even had the fried bananas with coconut ice cream , everyone loved it! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the less than enthusiastic hostess and the veggie pad Thai had a couple uncooked green beans in it and an edamame pod. Weird but no big deal. I would go again!

My husband and I tried this place out for dinner and were both really impressed. I am gluten sensitive and am nervous about eating at any new restaurant but their sign said gluten free and no MSG which got me in the door. The service was excellent. They had plenty of food options, including a sushi menu. I had the chicken fried rice which included baby corns, fresh carrots, snap peas, beans, and mushrooms in a nice spicy sauce. My husband got the beef penang curry, hot. His meal was very tasty and spicy. We also ordered the hurricane sushi roll and the server brought out gluten free soy sauce. For a glass of wine, a sushi roll and two entrees it was only $45. I will definitely go back here!

Very good sushi! King roll is the way to go. Get two orders if your sharing!!! Wonderful appetizers, Kanisu is my favorite. I recommend the Green papaya salad. And for dinner, i enjoy the curry, any, but mainly green. great pad thai, and a chef special i enjoy is the Gai Yang, well seasoned chicken, with crispy skin, and sticky rice, served with a tangy, sour, crunchy papaya salad. Mmmm. And, if mangoes are in season... you have to try the sweet rice and mango. Fantastic, or, the fried tempura ice cream... i dont know how they do it, but its yummy. Oh, and that green tea ice cream is a treat. But, you must try the king roll.
We eat lunch here about once a month. The curry and lunch specials are very good. The price is a little high at $10 and service can be hit and miss. Tried Sushi recently and again, while it was good, we thought it was over priced.

I have had the pleasure to eat dinner at Jasmines twice in the past week. We have been a long time follower and food was always fine. We met the new owner Sam, a very experienced chef/owner in the food world. He just acquired the restaurant just a few weeks ago and is making many positive changes! He took over the sushi bar with TK the staff sushi chef and served us several of his own creations that rival anything I have had anywhere in the world. This sushi/Thai eatery is worth the trip from Seaside or anywhere around the panhandle! A real jewel.

They had sushi on the menu, but when I tried to order some the waiter said they had no sushi at all because they were out on a chef. When I received my food it had a foul odor. I tried my food, it wasn't terrible but if I'm paying $11 for this I'm going to try my best to eat it. I came across several slices of beef that was bloody and undercooked. I immediately felt sick and put it to the side. When the waiter came around he asked if he could take my food, I said yes and explained why I could not eat it. All he said was "okay" and walked away. When I received my ticket I again explained why I could not eat my food and the waiter said "well that's the way they cook it" I said the menu did not specify on how they cook their meat and you did not ask me how I would like it to be cooked. He then said he would speak to someone about it so I could receive a discount that I asked for. While he was in the back speaking with who I assume was a manager, I could hear raised voices and the waiter saying "I know right, that's what I told her!" Then he came back with my new receipt with $1 less than it was before. Not only did I have the worst customer service but if I could hear employees conversing inappropriately about customer complaints in the back then I also believe that everyone that works there is unprofessional. I was looking foward to coming to Jazmine's, now I will never come back.

Visiting from California its always hit and miss in smaller towns to find good thai food - Jasmine is a Winner! Fantastic authentic thai. Great service, lovely ambience. We had Panang Chicken Curry - Excellent & and Chicken Basil chilli with Vegetables - it was fresh, delicious and spicy as requested. Will be back for sure next time we are in town.

This place is way overrated. I made a reservation on the opentable website and arrived on time to the restaurant. The waitress acts surprised and said that we don't have a reservation in their books. I continued to show her the confirmation that the restaurant sent me via email! I get no apology, just a blank stare. Then she says that the kitchen is 30 minutes behind, and they are only taking cash. Cash?? No thanks, I'll take my business elsewhere.

No expectations here so why four stars? Well because it was Pablo's birthday and the meal was great. Do not go here expecting authentic Thai, or even American Thai, what you get or at least what we got was very well executed pan asian cuisine, the sort of stuff you get in a nice place in SF or Seattle. Stuffed cucumber soup was tasty and unusual, the Thai equiv. of chicken noodle, pork larb - a huge portion and meal in itself. Our entrees were soft shell crab in a green curry, - the curry was very light and not spicy, creamy without being overpowering. Pablo's sea bass was huge and served with lime and ginger. All were beautifully presented. Service was excellent and super attentive. We finished up with pumpkin stuffed with custard, a work of genius. Sake to wash it down and all for under $60. These entrees would have cost $30 anywhere else but here were $15.

If you are looking for good Thai Food on the beach this is the place. The Curry was great and the lunch special were portioned well. The service was lacking however. We waited a very long time for the food, did not see the waitress that often for drink refills. All in all there are better places but this one will do if you are close by.

Had the Panang Curry and the Crispy Duck, both were really good. Also loved the Golden Pouch appetizer. I don't know much about Thai so I can't tell you if it was authentic or not, but I can tell you I enjoyed it and the service was very good. It's also very nice looking and clean inside.

By far, my favorite restaurant in Panama City and some of the best Thai food I have ever eaten! My favorite entree is the Pad Se Ue. I have tried many different things from the menu and all of it is stellar! There is so much to choose from. The food is so good, it is quite memorable.

I'm not from in town, or even from in state, but on my way from the beach like every good soul, i wanted some good food. This however was not it. The food was unspectacular and the service was below par. Giving the wrong appetizer in an uncrowded restaurant is inexcusable.

We found this place using the "Urban Spoon" app on the iPhone. It had a good lunch special at a reasonable price. We had the Veggie pad Thai and curry, and both were on the better end of standard. Super sweet Thai iced coffee is served in huge glasses, and the portion sizes, even for the lunch special, were generous. They have varying levels of spicy up to Thai hot, although medium seemed to be sufficient (and I love spicy food). We also had a very attractive and super friendly waitress who was attentive but not overbearing. A good experience and good food.

Terrible. Lousy food prep and flavors. Poor service. Not a good sign when you can hear other diners complaining about their meals and see food being taken back to the kitchen. If you like Thai food, avoid this place.

Pretty Average. Went for the first time based on good recommendations by friends. The place looked nice - a little bit sparsely decorated as though they were going for a look, but hadn't budgeted to fill the space. It lacks an intimate feel - somewhere between football stadium and air hangar. Started with drinks at the bar - which were made very nicely - so that was good. Appetizers arrived quickly, although we had to specifically request chopsticks despite ordering sushi - which seemed odd. The portions and taste of the main course were good - I would recommend the crispy duck, and might go back specifically for that dish (it's the only place i know of in Panama City to serve it on the menu). Service wasn't bad. Nothing special. Empty drinks were left on the table after our server walked by several times to check we were still doing ok. Would probably go back, but wouldn't go out of my way to recommend to others.
(3)
Ashley S.
The food wasn't to bad but the service was horrific. Every table around us had at least one thing taken off there check. There were tables left dirty for over 30 minutes. We got 3 out of 5 things we ordered and had to go to the bar to get our own drinks and refills. Sad it could have a been a good dinner but bad service and sloppy management wrecked it.

Criss M.
Went there for lunch and had the pad thai. $10.00 for pad thai, wow. The serving was large enough but the taste was lacking and the service was not good at all. If you want some good pad thai, fo to oshi, across the street from the police dept at the Y. They have great food, great service and a lot cheaper than Jazmine. I think Pad Thai is about $6.95 for lunch and the portions are smaller than Jazmine but it's well worth it.

I read the reviews prior to going to the restaurant and found that the reviews were not in line with my experience there. Service was friendly and efficient. The food was very good. The food was not overpriced. Overall, the restaurant exceeded my expectations.

Good Thai Food. Beautiful atmosphere. Pleasant service could be more attentive though. I had the Panang Curry. It was fresh, tasty and the presentation was really well done. I liked the food but if you like it spicy then tell them. Usually I like my Thai medium spicy but it did come out quite mild. I would just take it up a notch. But they get a higher mark for the actual flavor, freshness, atmosphere and friendly service.

Decor was very nice. Food was excellent. I had the tuna tataki(sp) and spicey tuna sushi and the tuna tasted very fresh. My main dish was the basil beef wok thai spicey and it was very good. Portion size is good other people with me had red curry, thai noodles and shrimp fried rice, of which they were very pleased with their dishes. I am from Colorado and it was nice to eat something with some flavor. Don't get me wrong, the seafood is awesome around this area. The fried salty everything is what gets old. So if you have a bland tongue and want deep fried fatty food, then this not your place.

Ate here over the Holidays and must say I wasn't impressed. I am from the Washington DC/Northern VA area and I have very solid experience with Thai restaurants. I must admit the summer rolls were perfectly done, not a complaint there. The sushi was passable but the sushi rice was a bit dry. I ordered the shrimp pad thai. the thai noodles were overcooked and on the soggy side of al dente. The shrimp were rather small for the price and the quantity lacked as well. The jasmine rice was over cooked as well. This place could be a slam dunk. The decor is amazing, but this restaurant lacks in execution. Lots of potential...maybe I'll check back here this summer when Im back down in PCB. Btw..I ordered my pad thai as "thai hot" and it was barely "mexican hot"...I wish i could do half stars because this experience would be a 1.5 stars...

Excellent choice for lunch. Pad Thai was delicious. The salad was fresh with a light, flavorful ginger dressing. Everything freshly prepared and generous portions. Pretty place too.

Just OK. We'd been watching the place being built over the course of several visits to PCB anticipating...maybe the place was too new. Will try it again in a couple of months. Sushi was good, but not great and the Thai dishes ordered by our party of 4 were average at best. And the waiter had obviously never been a waiter two weeks prior to our visit. But then I've been spoiled by Tip Thai in Richmond.

Nice place. Having lived in Thailand years ago i'm always looking for good Thai food. Though nothing will ever compare to the sights, sounds and tastes of Thailand I felt this was a very good restaurant. Beautiful atmosphere. Service was good. The pad Thai was very good and very spicy (as had been requested). I had fried rice which I thought was wonderful. so much that I ate it all which is not like me. Only thing is the portion were smaller than i've had at other places. I did not like the fact that salad or appetizer was not served with the meal, can be ordered for extra but the meal was also was more expensive than many other Thai restaurants i have been too. A friend of mine had suggested the place because he had ate lunch here and thought it was wonderful for the price and what you got. At lunch it included salad, spring roll, and the dish. Seems more of a variety for lunch vs dinner. all and all it was good.

My favorite restaurant in Panama City!! Not only is the decor gorgeous, but the food is out of this world. They have an incredible mussaman and their sushi is great too. The noodle dishes are also fantastic. You must try this place.

OK friends, this town is a pretty hard place to maintain a nice dining out vacation experience when you are gluten intolerant/celiac. Naturally I was interested by a new Thai place (thai is my go to at home as they generally have gluten free options) and then this year following construction seeing a gluten free listing on their reader board...WOW...were were there! And we've been there twice in the last week. I was sold the moment I discovered that I could enjoy deep fried, crispy, yummy, caalmari rings. The selection was enormous and I was so happy to enjoy things that I have hungered for these past 6 years since I've had to live the gluten free lifestyle. My husband and I shared on two occasions: fried calamari with sweet thai pepper sauce, a dish whose name I forget that had scallops/BIG shrimps/fried soft shelled crab with some veggies & a very nice sauce...and the second trip we shared BIG shrimp fried rice and chicken Pad Thai which was really good. The wait staff works well with you when your needs are explained and are efficient and helpful. The prices are a little on the high side, but not bad, and the food produced is high on the Yum scale. We recommend this new place and I hope they do well. Thanks for taking care of those of us who generally cannot enjoy the fried foods of the south. YEAH!!

Wouldn't know what the food's like. Called and gave my number 5 times to a young lady who spoke perfect English and my order 3 times. She kept saying she couldn't undertand and my phone had issues. I'd counter the loud music and the fact she was talking to others was the issue.

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the less than enthusiastic hostess and the veggie pad Thai had a couple uncooked green beans in it and an edamame pod. Weird but no big deal. I would go again!

Delicious! Large selection of Thai . I loved the crispy duck and cucumber salad was fresh and perfect.

I reserve five stars for very special places, but I have never had a bad meal here. Good variety of choices and good service. My husband likes it, and he is hard to please when it comes to Thai.

We were unable to get seated after standing at the hostess stand for ten minutes. If you're hungry don't stop here.

we had the most delicious sushi. service was great but best of all hats off to the chef the food was outstanding !!!!!!!!! will be back soon. if you are looking for awesome sushi and thai give them a try:)
(5)CAITLIN T.
The food was okay but the service was lacking considering there were only 2 tables.

With a party of seven, we decided it would be best to reserve a table ahead of time. Made the quick phone call and approximately 30 min later, got a call back from the manager to let us know their credit card machine was down - very respectful of them to allow us time to prepare, because we still definitely wanted to visit the restaurant. Card reader was fixed before we arrived. We were seated immediately and I noticed how open the restaurant is, one big open room with booths around the edge and a row in the middle, with tables speckled in between. While we visited during off-season, I'd imagine this place could get echo-y or loud when packed. Right off the bat, we knew something was up with our server- we told him first thing that we would all be on separate checks and he said he would not worry about that until later. Well, we tried to give ya a heads up, bud. He should have taken our advice, because he sure was confused when printing off the checks. He mumbled, was impersonal, and did not seem to put much effort into any of the three tables he was working with. It really ruined our experience. Our entrees were presented at different times, as in 10-12 min apart. It took approximately 25 min for our bill to be processed. The manager apologized, but it was too late. Our cards had already been swiped and by that point we were ready to get out. I will say most of us were satisfied with our food and drinks, but when they ask 'what level of spice would you like?' and a medium request tastes like an extreme mild, it is somewhat disappointing. My entrée was the massaman curry and it had a lemongrass taste; first time in that particular dish from the handful of Thai restaurants I've visited. But hey, it may just be their take on that dish. Give it a try, just hope you don't get a seat with Robert.

(5)Dikla S.
The best Thai Restaurant in this town. Vegetarian friendly Welcoming host Good, fast, friendly waitresses
(5)Megan C.
(1)Nicholas D.
They don't deliver. Was gona pick up then told us credit card machine was down and theyd only take cash. Well done guys

I have been here several times and the food and service has always been excellent. Today however was a different story. The food was excellent but sorry to say the service was was not.

We absolutely love the yellow curry but the service is slow. We over look the service because of the delicious food!
(5)Ray P.
If you are looking for good Thai Food on the beach this is the place. The Curry was great and the lunch special were portioned well. The service was lacking however. We waited a very long time for the food, did not see the waitress that often for drink refills. All in all there are better places but this one will do if you are close by.
(4)John H.
(4)Colleen R.
By far, my favorite restaurant in Panama City and some of the best Thai food I have ever eaten! My favorite entree is the Pad Se Ue. I have tried many different things from the menu and all of it is stellar! There is so much to choose from. The food is so good, it is quite memorable.
(5)Justin N.
I'm not from in town, or even from in state, but on my way from the beach like every good soul, i wanted some good food. This however was not it. The food was unspectacular and the service was below par. Giving the wrong appetizer in an uncrowded restaurant is inexcusable.
(3)Scott B.
We had a good meal and the staff was very friendly even though we were late
(4)Dos T.
(3)G J.
Terrible. Lousy food prep and flavors. Poor service. Not a good sign when you can hear other diners complaining about their meals and see food being taken back to the kitchen. If you like Thai food, avoid this place.
(1)Andrew D.
They did add a lunch menu, so I've been back several times for lunch. Service was fast and the food was good.

(3)Ashley S.
(2)Criss M.
(2)Wendy V.
I read the reviews prior to going to the restaurant and found that the reviews were not in line with my experience there. Service was friendly and efficient. The food was very good. The food was not overpriced. Overall, the restaurant exceeded my expectations.
(4)Richard G.
(4)Harry M.

(5)Sherri C.
(2)Andrew T.
Just over priced and nothing great.

(4)R C.
A very nice looking place, inside and out. A little more expensive than other local Thai places. Tried the Pad Thai twice and it was pretty good each time; I've had better, but we will come back again
(3)Ashley B.

YEAH!!
(4)Clayton M.
Wouldn't know what the food's like. Called and gave my number 5 times to a young lady who spoke perfect English and my order 3 times. She kept saying she couldn't undertand and my phone had issues. I'd counter the loud music and the fact she was talking to others was the issue.
(1)Nina G.
I absolutely love the crispy duck with chef special sauce .. It is So good..pad Thai is awesome too
(5)Kyle K.
Staff is super. Served very good Asian cuisine. Excellent sushi and the best springs rolls you'll likely ever eat. I recommend you eat here NOW!
(5)Yolanda S.
We always order pad see eu. Tonight tried the orange chicken. Excellent crispy chicken breast. Sweet tangy sauce. Would like it with a bit more hotness. Overall always very good!!! Staff and service friendly and attentive.

The curries are great. I wasn't too impressed with the Pad Thai.
